 | Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS)
offers peer support and assists survivors of military members who have been killed on active duty through a wide variety of programs and provides answers to complicated questions by tracking down information in an often complicated bureaucracy. TAPS has experienced, empathetic caseworkers who act as liaisons, assisting the family members in finding solutions to problems. Working hand in hand with the appropriate federal, state and private agencies, they have been successful in helping find solutions to problems that arise long after the official file has been closed. |

 | Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund
Department of Defense statistics indicate over 4,000 Marines have been injured in Operation Iraqi Freedom. While the Marine Corps goes above and beyond to support Marines and their families, there are limits to the amount of funding available.
The Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund was formed to provide supplemental assistance to U.S. Marines, Sailors, and their families as they face their road to recovery. |
